Foundational Approach to Wellness

You’re Not Broken, Our Society Is

We live in a society that’s obsessed with appearance. Unfortunately, this does not mean we are knowledgeable about health, especially when it comes to science and empirical evidence.

You may or may not know that the diet industry rakes in roughly $71 billion dollars every year. To give you some perspective on how much money that is, if you were to stack $71 billion worth of $100 bills, the resulting height would be over 44 miles tall.

That’s a lot of money! That’s also a lot of incentive to push products and “solutions” into the market that don’t actually work—at least not for the long term.

This industry survives (and grows each year) because it spends its marketing dollars convincing us that new products or solutions work. When it doesn’t, or we gain the weight back, it’s “our fault.”

I’m sharing the Foundational Approach to Wellness Email Series to help people gain the power, knowledge, and resources they need to boost their health literacy and stop falling prey to an industry that doesn’t have their best interest at heart.

Meet Dr. Tom Roselle, DC, the Facilitator of the Foundational Approach to Wellness Email Series

At the Roselle Center for Healing, we take a holistic approach to the health of our patients. By educating patients about the body and about the treatments they receive, they become active partners in achieving optimal health. We are a practice of chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, massage therapists, rehabilitation specialists, functional medicine experts. Our team works together to provide complete care to our patients through natural integrative medicine.

Empower Yourself With Knowledge About Your Body and Mind

My goal for this email series is to provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions about your personal health and wellness needs so that you can become your own advocate and make the necessary changes to start living your best life.

We live in a society that values productivity over rest, where studies show that less than 30% of people max out their paid vacation days (https://bit.ly/3puNbPE), and we’ve only just begun openly discussing the impact of mental health issues like anxiety and depression.

These norms we’ve become accustomed to are harmful to our health, and it’s time to start making small shifts to give our bodies the fuel, care, and rest that they need while giving ourselves healthy solutions.

Ready to start shifting the way you think about health?
